The WelConnect app connects families to available resources and support programs provided by their school district, their schools, the surrounding community, and the US military.

Our school district has implemented a new Visitor Management system.

Our school is participating in a program that will save loads of paper and is convenient for families.

The District's notification system School Messenger sends messages via email and automated telephone calls regarding events, school closings, safety alerts, and more. In addition, you can also subscribe to receive SMS alerts (text messages). To opt-in to the service, text a “Y" or "Yes” to 67587.

CVESD worked collaboratively with arts organizations in development of the District’s Visual and Performing Arts strategic plan. The strategic plan positioned the District well for significant changes in public education: California’s new funding formula for schools, and new state standards.

As part of the District’s one-to-one technology initiative, more than $3.5 million was allocated to purchase and distribute Lenovo devices so that by 2017-18 all students in grades 3-6 will have their own device to integrate technology throughout the school day.
